Master of Mental Health Nursing
This program is new for 2009 and provides foundational studies in Mental Health Services with the opportunity to specialise in areas such as diagnosis, psycho-social and psycho-educational interventions, mental health for older people, illness management and recovery and mental health in primary care. There are some Commonwealth Supported (HECs) places available for domestic students. This program is available for International (offshore) students.
Master of Applied Management (Nursing)
This program is ideal for graduate nurses who want to develop their skills for a career in nursing management.
Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
The Nurses and Midwives Board of NSW requires this degree from registered nurses who wish to work as nurse practitioners. It is also a valuable qualification to present to authorities in other states or countries.
Master of Nursing (Advanced Practice)
This degree is aimed at registered nurses who want to develop their leadership skills in nursing practice or education. The program focuses on clinical practice and allows you to specialise in a specific area of interest. This program is available for International (offshore) students.
Graduate Diploma in Midwifery
This program is only available in 2010 to continuing students. Applications are no longer being accepted.
Master of Midwifery Studies
Open to midwives with a Graduate Diploma in Midwifery and experienced midwives without a tertiary qualification, this degree is designed to develop students’ abilities to work in partnership with the women in their care and to polish professional skills in a range of complex midwifery situations. Commonwealth Supported (HECs) places are available for domestic students.This program is available for International (offshore) students.
