Master of Architecture
The School of Architecture and Built Environment has developed an innovative
approach to architectural education. From the beginning of the program,
students work on projects that reflect real design problems met by architects
in practice and use them to develop the knowledge and competence required
of a graduate entering the profession.

Master of Architecture (Postgraduate Entry)
Before 2008 in Australia, registration as an architect was based on a
Bachelor of Architecture, which at many universities was undertaken as
a 3+2 double bachelor program. After 2008, registration as an architect
in Australia required a Master of Architecture. The Master of Architecture
has only been available in Australian from 2008. This Master program of
study provides Bachelor of Architecture graduates with a pathway to the
Master level qualification by completing a maximum of 80 units of study.

The program aims to produce graduates with the capability to constructively
engage with the complex environmental concerns that confront contemporary
societies. It emphasises the integration of theory and practice and provides
an interdisciplinary grounding in sustainability, environmental management,
impact assessment and policy. On completion of the program, the graduate
will have a good understanding of the key approaches in environmental management,
sustainability and decision-making, and well developed problem solving
skills.

perspective of property portfolio management and property development and
