architecture-postgraduate-entry2Before 2008 in Australia, registration as an architect was based on a Bachelor of Architecture, which at many universities was undertaken as a 3+2 double bachelor program. After 2008, registration as an architect in Australia required a Master of Architecture. The Master of Architecture has only been available in Australian from 2008. This Masters program of study provides Bachelor of Architecture graduates with a pathway to the Masters level qualification by completing a maximum of 80 units of study.

The Master of Architecture (Postgraduate Entry) program is an 80 unit Masters degree. In order to be awarded the program, students are required to complete one core course of 20 units together with 60 units of selected courses chosen from a directed courses list.
